Korea Exchange (KRX) said on the 12th that it delivered 50 million won in scholarships for young sports talents in the Busan region to the Busan Sports Council. At the presentation ceremony, key officials including Jeong Eun-bo, secretary general of the KRX Happiness Foundation, and Park Ga-seo, vice president of the Busan Sports Council, attended.
Korea Exchange (KRX) has run scholarships for young sports talents in the Busan region since 2021. A total of 2.4 billion won has been paid through this year. The scholarships are given to high-potential sports talents, including student athletes facing financial hardship, athletes who have achieved excellent results at domestic and international competitions, and athletes with strong potential to improve performance.
Jeong Eun-bo, chair of Korea Exchange (KRX), said, "I hope this support will provide real strength for student athletes to keep their dreams and broaden their opportunities for growth," and added, "We will continue our sustained interest and support so we can help promising and growing sports talents, while fulfilling our social responsibility for the development of sports in the Busan region."
