IMM Holdings, which operates domestic private equity fund (PEF) manager IMM Private Equity (PE), carried out regular executive appointments that promote President Song In-jun to vice chair. Chief executives Kim Young-ho, Son Dong-han, and Park Chan-woo were promoted to president.
According to the investment banking (IB) industry on Dec. 11, IMM Holdings announced promotions for a total of 16 people that day.
Song In-jun, president of IMM Holdings, was promoted to vice chair in this reshuffle. Vice Chair Song will focus on building the group's mid- to long-term strategy and governance. Senior executive vice president Kim Young-ho was promoted to president and will serve as CEO of IMM Holdings.
Son Dong-han, executive vice president of IMM PE, was also promoted to president and will serve as CEO of IMM PE. The chief investment officer (CIO) role that the new President Son has held will be assumed by IMM PE Executive Vice President Yoo Heon-seok.
Park Chan-woo of IMM Credit & Solutions (ICS) was also promoted from executive vice president to president.
IMM PE formed a consortium with IMM Investment last year to acquire domestic waste disposal company Ecorbit, and earlier this year strategically sold equity in Woori Financial. Recently, it also succeeded in selling Hyundai LNG, which was jointly invested with IMM Investment for the first time in 11 years.
ICS, a credit manager, is also continuing active investments. This year, it sold and recovered the 30% equity it held in SK Enmove to SK Innovation, and invested 200 billion won in SNT Group, recovering 80% of the principal within three months of the investment.
