As of 11:08 a.m., HJ Shipbuilding & Construction was trading at 22,750 won on the Korea Exchange, up 900 won (4.12%) from the previous session.
HJ Shipbuilding & Construction took part in the Navy's new high-speed patrol boat program and has built 16 vessels so far, delivering them to the Navy. The high-speed boats launched this time were completed entirely with HJ Shipbuilding & Construction's own technology, from design to construction.
HJ Shipbuilding & Construction also disclosed that it won a 73.3 billion won contract to build a converter station through an agreement with Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO).
