BC Card will run a "My Tag" discount event for the month of December for the year-end and New Year holidays. "My Tag" is a personalized discount service that allows customers to tag directly in the Paybook lifestyle finance platform and receive discounts when paying with a BC personal credit or debit card.
The discount benefits apply to all cards issued by BC Card member companies (Woori Card, Hana Card, NH Nonghyup Card, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, KB Kookmin Card, iM Bank, BNK Busan Bank, BNK Kyongnam Bank, Shinhan Card, Suhyup Bank, Kwangju Bank, BC Baro Card).
Customers preparing Christmas interior accessories can use the IKEA, Ohouse, and Asung Daiso Co. My Tag; through the end of the year, IKEA online and offline stores and the Ohouse online mall offer a 3,000 won discount when spending 100,000 won or more. At Asung Daiso Co., a 300 won discount is offered when spending 10,000 won or more. It is available once per day, up to three times through the end of the year, for a maximum discount of 900 won.
Customers considering buying electronics as year-end gifts can also benefit from My Tag. At Hi-Mart, LG Best Shop, Samsung Store (offline), and Apple Store locations, a 10,000 won billing-date discount is offered when paying 1 million won or more. In addition, a 5,000 won discount is offered when paying 1 million won or more via Naver Pay.
For online shopping, Gmarket and Auction offer a 1% discount when spending 10,000 won or more. It applies up to three times per person during the period (200 won per transaction), for a maximum discount of 600 won. K-beauty platform Olive Young offers a 2,000 won discount when purchasing 50,000 won or more.
Starting on the 15th, customers can tag fashion platform My Tags such as Musinsa, 29CM, and W Concept. A 5,000 won discount is offered when paying 100,000 won or more on those platforms. This benefit is provided once per person during the period.
There are also tailored discounts for year-end travelers. On the Korean Air website and app, customers can receive up to a 10,000 won discount when spending 500,000 won or more on airfare. JIN AIR, Jeju Air, and T'way Air also offer a 2,000 won discount when paying 200,000 won or more for airfare with a BC Card. In particular, T'way Air will offer BC Card customers a 10,000 won coupon discount on all routes for the entire month of December. It can be issued on the T'way Air website and app.
Lastly, it is good to buy Christmas cakes at Paris Baguette or Tous les Jours. When spending 20,000 won or more, 2,000 won in Paybook Money, which can be used like cash at BC Card online and offline merchants, will be credited.
