In the first week of Dec. (1-5), five corporations in Korea's initial public offering (IPO) market are set to take subscriptions for public offerings from retail investors.
According to the financial investment industry on the 30th, on Dec. 1-2 the public offering subscription for FESCARO, an automotive cybersecurity specialist, is scheduled for retail investors. FESCARO is a corporation founded in 2016 by Chief Executive Hong Seok-min, an automotive electronic control software developer formerly with Hyundai Kefico. The desired offering price range (band) is 12,500-15,500 won. In an earlier institutional book-building, it recorded a competition rate of 1,173.2 to 1 and set the offering price at the top of the band, 15,500 won.
On Dec. 2-3, QuadMedicine and EGIS will take subscriptions for their public offerings. QuadMedicine develops drug delivery technology using microneedle patches. It developed its own microneedle technology to offset the drawbacks of conventional syringes. The offering price band was 12,000-15,000 won, and institutional demand forecasting was conducted on the 24th-28th.
EGIS is a platform corporation based on a three-dimensional (3D) geographic information system (GIS). It provides a "digital earth" service that builds the real world in a digital environment. The offering price band was 13,000-15,000 won, and demand forecasting was conducted on the 21st-27th.
On Dec. 4-5, Acryl's public offering subscription is scheduled. Acryl operates "Jonathan," a Generative AI platform that includes AI infrastructure management and workflow automation functions. It helps corporations develop AI efficiently. Acryl's offering price band is 17,500-19,500 won, and institutional demand forecasting runs through Dec. 1.
TMC, which is pushing for a listing on the Korea Exchange's main board, is set to take public offering subscriptions from retail investors on the 3rd-4th. TMC, established in 2012, is a manufacturer of special cables for ships and offshore use, and is a parent company in which KPF holds 68.37% equity. The offering price band was 8,000-9,300 won, and institutional demand forecasting was conducted on the 21st-27th.
