KB Securities said on the 28th that on Feb. 1 it will newly list four themed exchange-traded notes (ETNs), including ETNs that invest in the BYD value chain in China's electric vehicle industry and ETNs based on the Nasdaq 100 index.
The specific product names are ◇ KB BYD Value Chain ETN ◇ KB Leverage BYD Value Chain ETN ◇ KB Leverage U.S. Nasdaq 100 TR ETN B ◇ KB Inverse 2X U.S. Nasdaq 100 TR ETN B.
The newly introduced "KB BYD Value Chain ETN" and "KB Leverage BYD Value Chain ETN" invest in the value-chain ecosystem centered on BYD, a leading Chinese electric vehicle company.
Both are currency-exposed products, and returns vary with changes in the yuan-won exchange rate. The maturity is 10 years, and they can be traded until Nov. 21, 2035. KB Securities noted it set the fee at 0% to minimize expense burden.
"KB Leverage U.S. Nasdaq 100 TR ETN B" and "KB Inverse 2X U.S. Nasdaq 100 TR ETN B" are relisted products that replace those scheduled for delisting due to maturity.
Both products have a currency-exposed structure, and returns vary with changes in the won-dollar exchange rate. The annual fees are 1.18% and 0.77%, respectively, and the maturity is 10 years, allowing transaction until Nov. 21, 2035.
