PKF Seohyun Accounting Corporation said it has recruited partners Han Hyo-seok, Heo Se-bong and Kim Ha-gyun to strengthen its expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) services and to drive qualitative growth in its energy and construction work.
On the 26th, according to PKF Seohyun Accounting Corporation, partner Han Hyo-seok is a key leader in the M&A advisory market who led overall M&A work as head of the strategy and transaction advisory market headquarters and head of the transaction advisory headquarters at EY Hanyoung Accounting Corporation.
Han is an M&A expert who, over more than 20 years in the M&A market, handled deals with conglomerates, private equity funds and mid-sized corporations, building a record of successful corporate growth and restructuring through transaction advisory.
Partner Heo Se-bong is an energy-sector expert who served as head of the IM (Industrial Market) headquarters at Samjeong Accounting Corporation and led audits and accounting advisory work for many energy corporations, including Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) and oil refiners.
Heo also spent two years in audit work at the KPMG US Silicon Valley office, and in Korea served as a member of the K-IFRS inquiry response joint committee, a nonstanding member of the Korea Accounting Standards Board, and a member of the internal accounting management system operations committee, making Heo an expert in K-IFRS and SOX.
Partner Kim Ha-gyun is an expert in audits and financial consulting in construction, healthcare and the public sector. At Samjeong Accounting Corporation, Kim successfully led audit and consulting engagements in infrastructure such as construction and aviation, healthcare including pharmaceuticals and hospitals, and the public sector including public institutions.
Kim has also served as a member of the public corporation management evaluation committee at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and as a civic integrity auditor for many public institutions, contributing to accounting transparency and financial advancement in the public sector.
