Korea Investment & Securities said on the 19th that it will run an event through Dec. 31 offering $30 to new customers who are new to overseas stock transaction via BanKIS.
Eligible participants are new customers applying for their first overseas stock transaction with the company through BanKIS. After registering for the event, they can receive $30 immediately.
However, the $30 provided can be used only for overseas stock transaction and will be clawed back if not used within 30 days or if the transaction is less than $30.
Park Jae-hyeon, head of the retail customer group at Korea Investment & Securities, said, "We hope this event will provide practical help for customers to start overseas stock transaction," adding, "We will continue to offer differentiated services that can meet customers' diverse investment needs."
