Venture capital (VC) Stonebridge Ventures made a new investment in Aidro, a mobility aerodynamics technology corporations.
On the 18th, Stonebridge Ventures said it participated in Aidro's Series B fundraising with K2 Investment, BonAngels Venture Partners, Korea Investment Partners, and Bridge Investment, investing a total of 10 billion won.
Aidro, a mobility aerodynamics technology corporations that reduces the air resistance of moving vehicles and improves energy efficiency, started in 2020. It was founded by Chief Executive Yoon Seung-hyeon, who graduated from the KAIST Department of Aerospace Engineering.
Aidro, in particular, secured well-known U.S. automotive aftermarket distributors such as Vivid Racing and ECS Tuning as clients, and posted 11 billion won in revenue on a consolidation basis last year.
Lee Jong-hyun, a managing director at Stonebridge Ventures, said, "Aidro has commercialized aerodynamics technology," and noted, "It is a corporations with the technological capabilities to improve driving performance and energy efficiency in the era of electric vehicles."
