Kakao Pay Securities said on the 18th that it is running a promotion with the music platform Melon of Kakao Entertainment, offering up to 1 million won worth of overseas stocks and 10,000 won worth of Melon Cash.
The promotion consists of two events that can be joined separately on Kakao Pay Securities and Melon.
First, on the Melon app, regular billing members who complete participation in the event will have a chance to receive overseas stocks worth at least 1,000 won and up to 1 million won.
Members at Gold tier (subscribed for 1 year or more) and below will receive one stock exchange coupon, and VIP (subscribed for 3 years or more) members will receive up to two. The event runs through the 31st of next month.
On the Kakao Pay app, users with no stock transaction history at Kakao Pay Securities from May 1 to Oct. 31 this year who apply to participate in the event and then make a general stock transaction of 10,000 won or more will receive 10,000 Melon Cash. The event period is from the 6th of this month to Dec. 10.
Among those who receive Melon Cash, tickets to the "2025 Melon Music Awards (MMA)" (two per person) will be additionally offered to a total of 50 people by drawing.
