NH Futures said on the 17th that it will hold the "2026 annual outlook seminar" at the Korea Exchange (KRX) Seoul headquarters on the 3rd of next month. The seminar will cover the won-dollar exchange rate against the U.S. dollar, outlooks for key nonferrous metals such as gold, silver, and copper, and an introduction to hedging strategies using currency futures.
NH Futures noted that volatility in exchange rates and commodity prices has intensified due to the recent U.S.-China economic trend, major countries' monetary policies, and geopolitical factors. It explained that it prepared this seminar so that customers can accurately understand next year's market and establish foreign exchange risk strategies (unexpected losses that may arise from exchange rate fluctuations) that help corporate operations.
Lecturers will include researchers Kwon A-min and Hwang Byung-jin of NH Investment & Securities, and Baek In-chun, Head of Team at NH Futures. Regarding the seminar, researcher Kwon said, "We plan to conduct an in-depth analysis of the direction of the won-dollar exchange rate and major risk factors." Researcher Hwang said, "We will deliver practical analysis to help customers improve their understanding of the commodity market."
The seminar is open to general corporate clients and individual clients and will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:10 p.m. on Dec. 3 in the first-floor seminar room at the Korea Exchange (KRX). Customers who wish to attend can apply through the seminar application page in the notices section of the NH Futures website, and seating is limited, so registration may close early.
