Korea Investment & Securities said on the 7th that it will run a foreign-currency product subscription event for customers of its online investment service BanKIS through Dec. 5 this year.
The products eligible for the event are: ▲ foreign-currency issued notes (91 days or longer) ▲ foreign-currency RPs (91 days or longer) ▲ overseas bonds in foreign currency. After applying for the event, benefits of up to $100 will be offered by net purchase amount tier.
In addition, for customers with net purchases of 30 million won or more, the company will also hold a drawing to give one share of the U.S. tech firm "Palantir Technologies" as a prize.
Park Jae-hyun, head of the retail client group at Korea Investment & Securities, said, "Customer interest in foreign-currency products has been steadily expanding, and we hope this event helps even a little with asset growth by managing exchange-rate risk while receiving tangible benefits."
Korea Investment & Securities' foreign-currency products can be subscribed to via its mobile app as well as through the online banking advertising channels of KakaoBank, Toss Bank, and Kbank.
