Venture capital (VC) Altos Ventures said on the 7th that it held an "AI Builder Salon" with the U.S. Generative AI service development corporations Anthropic.
The AI Builder Salon was arranged as a venue to share technology development cases between Anthropic and Korea's AI developers and Start - Up founders. Anthropic co-founder Benjamin Mann also attended.
Anthropic was founded in 2021 by CEO Dario Amodei, formerly of OpenAI, and others. Its main focus is developing large language models (LLMs) and AI agents, and it is considered a competitor to OpenAI. Its flagship model is "Claude."
Anthropic drew attention in on the 7th when it established its Korean subsidiary "Anthropic Korea." It was reported to be the first local subsidiary in the Asia-Pacific region.
Altos Ventures said, "Korea's technology Start - Ups are moving beyond simply using Claude to create a new paradigm of product development and creativity through collaboration with AI."
Meanwhile, Viva Republica Chief Business Officer (CBO) Kim Gyu-ha, Karrot Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Jeong Chang-hun, and Alice Group CEO Kim Jae-won attended the AI Builder Salon.
