Samsung Life Insurance is continuing to sign business agreements with corporate insurance agencies (GAs) to protect financial consumers.
On the 27th of last month, at its headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, Samsung Life Insurance signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Doha Management Consulting on protecting financial consumers and discussed practical cooperation measures related to financial consumer protection. The agreement began from a shared understanding of enhancing financial consumer protection and raising the level of internal controls at GAs.
Doha Management Consulting, a third-year startup GA founded in 2022, is viewed as sustaining rapid growth with high-quality contracts and a planner-centered sales policy. It also jointly operates Doha Academy, which owns TAE KWANG CORPORATION Middle School and TAE KWANG CORPORATION High School in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi.
Through this agreement, the two companies agreed to cooperate on internal controls and self-inspection tasks to reduce risks related to entrusted and consigned operations, complaint handling and prevention activities to protect financial consumers, and personal information protection and management.
