AIA Group said on the 5th it will extend its successful partnership with English Premier League (EPL) soccer team Tottenham Hotspur.
AIA will continue as Tottenham's Global Training Partner from July 2027 to June 2032, and will remain the Global Principal Partner and front-of-kit sponsor through the end of the 2026–2027 season.
From July 2027, AIA will continue its sponsorship as Tottenham's "Global Training Partner," and Tottenham fans will be able to see the AIA brand on the training wear of all players and coaches. In addition, AIA will continue to appear on the LED advertising boards at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Through this global training partnership, AIA expects to further promote the core shared value with Tottenham of "Healthy Living."
Since signing the partnership in 2013, AIA and Tottenham have achieved numerous results together on and off the pitch. Earlier this year, Tottenham won the UEFA Europa League and opened a new state-of-the-art home stadium, building success across sports and achieving growth. AIA also promoted its brand to billions of fans around the world through Tottenham's kits.
As part of the "AIA One Billion (AOB)" campaign, AIA runs the "Children's Health Football Program" with Tottenham. To date, more than 175,000 youths across Asia, including Korea, have taken part in the program. With this partnership extension, AIA plans to steadily expand customer engagement events in Asia with Tottenham on themes of training, health, and well-being.
"AIA One Billion" is a campaign launched by AIA Group in 2022 with the goal of helping 1 billion people in the Asia-Pacific enjoy "healthier, longer, better lives" by 2030. A survey of the 18 markets where AIA operates found that the campaign has positively impacted more than 500 million people so far. AIA plans to continue various activities through active collaboration with Tottenham to achieve the AOB goals.
Stuart Spencer, AIA Group chief marketing officer (CMO), said, "Asia has the largest fan base for the Premier League, and by opening a new chapter in our partnership we hope that more outcomes and new initiatives will help people in Asia live 'healthier, longer, better lives.'"
