On the 4th, Toss Securities said it would resume Day Market, a weekly U.S. stock trading service, starting today.
With the resumption of Day Market transactions, U.S. stocks can additionally be traded from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Korea time (daylight saving time not applied). As a result, the time during which U.S. stocks can be traded on Toss Securities has expanded to a total of 23 hours and 50 minutes.
The hours during which U.S. stock transactions are available are ▲ Day Market from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ▲ Pre-market from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. ▲ Regular session from 11:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next day ▲ After-market from 6 a.m. to 9:50 a.m. In effect, an environment is in place that allows trading virtually 24 hours a day.
In the Day Market, transactions can be made with limit and market orders, and unfilled orders remain in place until 9:50 a.m. the next day, when the after-market ends.
A Toss Securities official said, "With the resumption of the Day Market service, U.S. stock investors can respond more flexibly to market volatility," and added, "We will provide diverse investment information in line with the extended trading hours and work to build a stable trading environment."
