Taihan Cable & Solution shares were trading at 27,900 won on the KOSPI market at 9:30 a.m. that day. The price jumped 10.93% (2,750 won) from the previous day. At the same time, Gaon Cable and Daewon Cable were also posting gains of around 3%.
Hyosung Heavy Industries also set an all-time high during the session, rising to 2,483,000 won. HD Hyundai Electric and LS ELECTRIC shares were also traded at higher prices than the previous day.
Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella cited a power shortage as the cause of bottlenecks in the AI industry. Appearing on the U.S. business podcast "BG2," Nadella said, "The biggest issue we are dealing with right now is not chips but power," adding, "More precisely, it is a question of whether we can build data centers fast enough near where power is available."
