Daishin Securities Co. said on the 4th that it will hold a prize drawing event for individual customers to mark the resumption of weekday transactions in U.S. stocks. Customers can trade U.S. stocks from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Korea time on Cybos and Creon, the firm's home and mobile trading systems (HTS/MTS).
From the day to the 28th, Daishin Securities Co. will give one entry ticket if a customer buys 300,000 won or more of U.S. stocks or exchange-traded funds (ETF) during weekday transaction hours. Up to 18 tickets can be accumulated, and customers who open a new account during the event period will receive one additional ticket.
A total of 12 people will receive a "Wolhwajae hanok one-night accommodation voucher" through the ticket drawing, and if the winner joins an SNS certification, an additional $30 worth of U.S. fractional shares will be given. Prizes are scheduled to be paid out in early December.
Cho Tae-won, head of customer solutions at Daishin Securities Co., said, "The weekday transaction service for U.S. stocks has gained more stability and is being reintroduced," adding, "We hope you will trade conveniently during the day and enjoy the prize benefits as well."
