KCGI Asset Management said on the 31st that a total of 53.9 billion won flowed into the "KCGI Korea Target-Conversion No. 4 (bond-mixed)" fund, which was raised through the 30th of this month.
Accordingly, the cumulative subscriptions this year for the KCGI target-conversion fund series, first introduced in April, amount to 564.6 billion won.
The fund raised this time is a bond-mixed product that invests 50% or more in high credit-quality bonds such as Government Bonds, monetary stabilization bonds, and top-tier financial bonds, and 30% or less in domestic stocks. It seeks excess returns while maintaining stability, and converts to a bond type when the target return of 6% is achieved.
KCGI Asset Management said, "Recently, with market interest rates shifting to a low-rate stance and a boom in the semiconductor sector,
expectations for stock price gains have grown," and added, "As a result, demand has increased among investors seeking medium risk and medium returns by investing a portion of funds in stock-type asset."
