Samsung Securities said on the 26th that it rolled out an unconventional marketing effort with a spicy sauce wishing for a global bull run at the "2025 Gimcheon Kimbap Festival" in Gimcheon, North Gyeongsang, held for two days starting on the 25th.
At the festival's on-site event, Samsung Securities gave away 2,000 "stock bull-run packages" as prizes. The Samsung Securities "stock bull-run package" is a limited-edition product aligned with the "master of stocks campaign."
By likening the "jang" (market) of the stock market to food "jang" (sauce), the package included: ▲ Korea's gochujang ▲ Japan's wasabi ▲ China's mala sauce ▲ the United States' hot sauce. By comparing each country's representative spicy sauce to its representative stock index, it carried the meaning of wishing for a bull run in the stock market.
The three videos of the master of stocks campaign released on Samsung Securities' official YouTube channel surpassed a cumulative 13 million views. A video of Samsung Securities' food and beverage analyst enjoying kimbap and the stock bull-run sauce was also released.
A Samsung Securities official said, "The master of stocks campaign is a project that cheerfully unpacks the heat of the stock market by reflecting investors' language and culture," adding, "Through this on-site participation in the Gimcheon festival, we will meet customers directly and continue various activities so that more people can experience the Samsung Securities brand more familiarly."
