The National Pension Service (NPS) has begun the process to select its next chair.
The National Pension Service (NPS) Executive Recommendation Committee on the 22nd issued a call for applications for the chair position and opened a public recruitment. The application deadline is until 6 p.m. on the 5th of next month, and applicants must submit a self-introduction, a job execution plan, and other documents by mail, email, or in person.
The term of the National Pension Service (NPS) chair is three years. The role oversees all of the Service's work, including imposing pension contributions and paying benefits, managing enrollees, and conducting research related to fund management.
The Service set out four broad eligibility criteria. ▲ A person with leadership as a chief executive and the ability to present a vision ▲ A person with extensive knowledge and experience related to the national pension and social welfare fields ▲ A person with organizational management and business capabilities ▲ A person with sound ethics, including integrity and morality.
The National Pension Service (NPS) Executive Recommendation Committee plans to select the final candidate next month through document screening and interviews. The final candidate is appointed by the president upon the recommendation of the Minister of Health and Welfare.
