Artificial intelligence (AI) lightweighting and optimization technology corporations Nota set the final IPO price at 9,100 won.
Nota said on the 22nd that it set the offering price at 9,100 won, the top of the desired range (7,600–9,100 won), in a book-building process for institutional investors. A total of 2,319 domestic and overseas institutional investors participated in the book-building, logging a competition rate of 1,058 to 1. The total IPO amount is 26.5 billion won, and the expected market capitalization after listing is 192.6 billion won.
All institutional investors who participated in the book-building this time submitted prices at or above the top end of the price band. The proportion of institutional investors' shares subject to lockup commitments reached 59.7%. This is the second-highest figure this year. It is analyzed as reflecting expectations for stock price stability after listing.
A Mirae Asset Securities official in charge of the listing said, "Despite a structure in which the number of participations and the competition rate in book-building are bound to fall due to improvements to the initial public offering (IPO) system, such as expanding lockup commitment ratios and tightening eligibility for participation, the number of participations hit the highest since the system reforms on expectations for Nota's technology and business scalability."
Nota, based on AI lightweighting and optimization technology, helps build environments where AI operates efficiently from the cloud to on-device. It counts global big tech firms such as Samsung Electronics, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft (MS), and Nvidia among its major clients.
The company's revenue grew from 480 million won in 2021 to 8.44 billion won in 2024. That amounts to an average annual growth rate of 159.7%. Building on this growth, it is targeting revenue of 14.5 billion won this year.
Nota plans to use the funds raised through the IPO for ▲ expanding high-performance servers and hardware infrastructure ▲ research and development and working capital ▲ repayment of borrowing fund.
Nota plans to take subscriptions from retail investors from the 23rd to the 24th and list on the KOSDAQ market on Nov. 3.
