Korea Investment Management said on the 21st it will run the "U.S. benchmark index investing reward trip" event through Dec. 19.
The "U.S. benchmark index investing reward trip" is a buying event for the ACE U.S. S&P 500 ETF and the ACE U.S. Nasdaq 100 ETF, which track major U.S. indexes. Rewards for purchases of the two ETFs are divided by period—two weeks, one month, and three months—with different prizes for each period.
The prize given every two weeks is an e-gift card. If you buy 10 shares or more of either the ACE U.S. S&P 500 ETF or the ACE U.S. Nasdaq 100 ETF during the event, e-gift cards for Baemin or Starbucks will be awarded by lottery. Winners will be announced five times starting on the 29th of this month, and 1,650 e-gift cards will be awarded over the three months.
The monthly prizes are: ▲Nintendo Switch 2 (October) ▲Marshall Bluetooth speaker (November) ▲Crema e-book reader (December). These prizes will be awarded by lottery among customers whose cumulative purchases of the ACE U.S. S&P 500 ETF and ACE U.S. Nasdaq 100 ETF rank in the top 20% during the event. Winner announcements are scheduled for Nov. 5, Dec. 3, and Dec. 24, for a total of three rounds. One unit of each item will be given per round.
The final prize is the so-called "consistency reward," which wraps up the three-month event. A 1 million won Korean Air gift card will be awarded by lottery among customers whose total number of purchases of the ACE U.S. S&P 500 ETF and ACE U.S. Nasdaq 100 ETF ranks in the top 20% over the entire period. One gift card will be given to each of three selected winners.
Yeom Jeong-in, Director General of the ETF Digital Marketing Department, said, "We prepared this event because many investors make steady, installment-style investments in the ACE U.S. S&P 500 ETF and ACE U.S. Nasdaq 100 ETF."
