KOSDAQ-listed SAMHYUN saw its shares jump early on the 17th. Buying is seen gathering on expectations for earnings after news that the company will unveil a mass-production model of its self-developed "high-load autonomous mobile robot (HAMR)."
As of 9:21 a.m. that day, SAMHYUN was trading at 29,800 won, up 1,750 won (6.24%) from the previous session.
Motion control specialist SAMHYUN said that at the "2025 RoboWorld" to be held in Nov., it will unveil the HAMR mass-production model for the first time in Korea. Based on SAMHYUN's 3-in-1 integrated solution (motor, controller, reducer) technology, HAMR is a next-generation autonomous mobile robot that can operate in high-load environments such as industrial logistics, shipbuilding, and manufacturing.
SAMHYUN said HAMR can travel at speeds of up to 20 km/h, unlike existing AGVs (automated guided vehicles), which were limited to 5 km/h.
At the event, SAMHYUN will unveil nine robot products, including HAMR; AMMR (autonomous manipulation mobile robot); the open-architecture shared platform for unmanned vehicles and robots "HOPLON"; a quarantine robot; and a patrol robot. It also plans to showcase 13 items including core components such as joint motors for physical artificial intelligence (AI) robots, in-wheel motors for mobile robots, autonomous driving control technology, and robot solutions.
Chief Executive Park Ki-won of SAMHYUN said, "After RoboWorld, we will also prove SAMHYUN's robot technology, including HAMR, on the global stage at 'CES 2026.'"
