Shinhan Bank said on the 13th it will run a hiring package for 480 positions to expand youth employment and create inclusive jobs. It consists of 100 hires for general positions, bespoke professional fields, and office staff announced 4th; 100 for a financial foresight intern program; 200 support staff for branch counter operations; and 80 for financial consumer protection and internal control roles.
Shinhan Bank said it created the intern program so that young talent can learn the financial role and build foresight across future promising industries such as artificial intelligence, information security, advanced materials and components, and renewable energy. Those selected as interns will complete basic training on finance at the Shinhan Bank training center and be assigned to frontline departments to learn the latest industry trends and financial practices. Participants who perform well during the internship will receive preferential treatment when the bank hires.
The recruitment track for support staff for branch counter operations has no restrictions on education or age. Selected employees will support simple and easy tasks at branches to improve financial accessibility for vulnerable groups such as older adults and people with disabilities. Shinhan Bank said it prepared the program to help career-interrupted talent reenter society and create inclusive jobs.
