Chair Kim Byung-ju of MBK Partners will appear as a witness at the National Assembly's Political Affairs Committee audit on the 14th.
According to political circles and the investment banking (IB) industry on the 13th, Kim is scheduled to appear as a witness at the Political Affairs Committee's Fair Trade Commission audit set for the 14th.
Earlier, Kim, along with Vice Chairs Kim Gwang-il and Yoon Jong-ha of MBK Partners and Co-CEO Cho Ju-yeon of Homeplus, was selected as a witness in connection with the Homeplus situation. However, regarding this audit, Kim has not submitted a statement of nonattendance so far.
