Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance said on the 1st that it will release a revised version of "My Fit health insurance," which was first introduced in Jul. last year.
"My Fit health insurance" is a modular health policy that allows customers to choose the coverage they need based on their health status and life cycle. In this revision, a family bundle discount was newly introduced, and coverage related to dementia and long-term care was added to strengthen competitiveness.
Spouses and lineal ascendants and descendants of the insured are considered family, and when two or more family members bundle, 5% of the monthly premium is discounted, enabling coverage at a reasonable expense. In addition, to prepare for an aging era, a care module was newly established and dementia and long-term care-related collateral was reinforced.
A Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance official said, "My Fit health insurance is a product that continues to evolve to provide solutions tailored to customers' diverse needs," adding, "We plan to develop differentiated products that customers need going forward."
