Samil Accounting Corporation and PwC Consulting said on the 30th that revenue for fiscal year 2025 (July 2024–June 2025) was 1.5554 trillion won, up 10% from the same period a year earlier (1.413 trillion won).
Samil Accounting Corporation posted 1.1094 trillion won in revenue, and PwC Consulting posted 446 billion won. Operating profit for the same period was estimated at 26 billion won.
Specifically, Samil Accounting Corporation recorded revenue of 386 billion won in audit, 275.9 billion won in tax advisory, and 447.5 billion won in management consulting. Samil PwC said all major service areas grew 6%–11% from a year earlier. PwC Consulting's revenue increased by more than 14% from the same period a year earlier (390 billion won).
Yun Hunsu, PwC Korea country leader, said, "With technological innovation and the impact of global mega-trends, the industry's growth domains are being reshaped. The accounting industry, too, is expected to undergo even more radical changes due to digital and artificial intelligence (AI) transformation," and added, "While maintaining the industry's essential value of building trust in the capital markets, we will work harder to provide services that can serve as a momentum for the growth of corporations."
