Hanwha Investment & Securities said on the 29th that "nothing has been decided" regarding a report that it is reviewing the sale of its equity in Dunamu.
With the possibility of a merger between Naver Financial, an affiliate of NAVER, and Dunamu, the operator of the virtual asset exchange Upbit, being discussed, there was a report that Hanwha Investment & Securities is reviewing a plan to sell its 5.94% equity in Dunamu.
Hanwha Investment & Securities said, "As Dunamu and Naver Financial have recently begun discussions on a strategic partnership, including a comprehensive stock exchange, we are reviewing various options such as continuing to hold, appraisal rights for purchase, or sale, but nothing specific has been decided yet."
Hanwha Investment & Securities plans to re-disclose either when specific details are finalized or within one month.
