Korea Investment Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Investment Holdings, said on the 26th it will conduct an experienced-hire open recruitment across all global business institutional sectors. The aim is to secure specialized talent in step with the expansion of its overseas business.
The recruitment areas are as follows: ▲ management of and sales support for the New York and Hong Kong hubs ▲ management of local subsidiaries in Vietnam and Indonesia ▲ overseas legal support ▲ South and West Asia business planning ▲ overseas investment banking (IB) and alternative investments ▲ sourcing of alternative products ▲ global infrastructure sales and operations. Each field requires understanding of the local financial industry and culture, job-related language proficiency, and 1 to 5 years of relevant experience. Applications will be accepted until the 29th.
Korea Investment Securities is steadily expanding the scale of related hiring as it seeks new business opportunities in overseas markets.
Korea Investment Securities currently operates 11 branches in countries overseas, including the United States, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Indonesia. In developed markets such as the United States and Hong Kong, it is focusing its capabilities on expanding its IB business, and, in cooperation with global financial firms such as Goldman Sachs and Carlyle, it is sourcing overseas financial products into the domestic market. In emerging markets such as Vietnam and Indonesia, it is pursuing business diversification—retail, IB, and asset management—through full-service securities companies.
A Korea Investment Securities official said, "This round of experienced hiring aims to secure talent in advance to further expand our global business," adding, "We will continue to recruit outstanding global talent so we can effectively respond to changes in domestic and overseas financial conditions."
