The commercial vehicle parking service "Truck Helper" has secured new investment from venture capital (VC) firm Smilegate Investment and others.
According to the VC industry, Big Mobility, which operates Truck Helper, recently carried out a pre-Series A round and raised new funds totaling 2.2 billion won from Smilegate Investment and others.
Smilegate Investment took part as the lead investor, covering more than half of the total investment. In addition, Sopoong Ventures and ALOYS Ventures joined as new investors.
Big Mobility launched in 2023 as a developer and operator of parking lots dedicated to commercial vehicles. Truck Helper, a commercial vehicle parking service that makes use of idle urban land, is its flagship product.
Immediately after its incorporation, the company attracted seed investment (early-stage investment) from BonAngels Venture Partners and built out 41 parking lots nationwide. It set a goal of posting an annual profit this year.
Big Mobility plans to use the new funding to expand its business into light maintenance services for commercial vehicles based on its dedicated parking lots, as well as financial support.
