Samsung Card said on the 25th that it has launched the "Starbucks Samsung Card" in partnership with Starbucks.
The Starbucks Samsung Card offers Star accumulation benefits based on spending amount. When using Starbucks, cardholders can receive up to 5 Stars per 10,000 won depending on the previous month's spending. Star accumulation is provided up to 50 per month. In addition, when reloading the Starbucks-branded prepaid card, the "Starbucks Card," cardholders earn 1 Star per 30,000 won loaded.
Star accumulation benefits are also provided when using merchants other than Starbucks. At all domestic and overseas merchants except Starbucks, 1 Star is earned per 30,000 won spent, up to 100 per month.
Details such as how to apply and the previous month's spending can be checked on the Samsung Card and Starbucks websites and apps, and the annual fee is 30,000 won for both domestic-only and overseas-enabled (Mastercard) versions.
A Samsung Card official said, "With this collaboration with Starbucks, which leads coffee culture, we have launched a product that offers differentiated benefits to customers," adding, "Samsung Card and Starbucks plan to continue collaborating in various areas going forward."
