Korea Investment Holdings subsidiary Korea Investment & Securities said on the 18th that it will hold an event to mark the revamp of its U.S. dividends stock investment service.
From today through Oct. 2, the first 10,000 investors who register for automatic U.S. stock investing of 6,000 won or more will receive six U.S. stocks worth up to 30,000 won. By drawing, 10 people will get a refund of their automatic investment amount up to 1 million won.
Automatic investing is a service that buys fractional shares according to set preferences when you set the desired amount, investment period, and investment cycle (day/week/month). Korea Investment & Securities will waive all fees within a monthly limit of 1 million won for automatic investment purchases through the end of the year and will also offer a 90% preferential exchange rate benefit.
Earlier, Korea Investment & Securities strengthened its U.S. dividends stock investment service. For investors who find it difficult to pick stocks, it highlights top "dividends quality" names that have steadily increased dividends for five years or more. Dividends quality is an index created by Korea Investment & Securities by comprehensively analyzing profitability, growth, financial stability, and other factors for each U.S. dividends stock, based on its own evaluation.
It also offers the "dividends six-dish set" service, which automatically invests in six dividends stocks selected based on dividends quality or related indicators. Recently, it improved the dividends simulation function so that users can more easily check the expected annual dividends amount by setting the investment amount and other inputs.
