IGIS Asset Management said on 17th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Saramin on the morning of 16th at ONE GROVE in Magok, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, to build a next-generation office search platform for corporations.
The agreement aims to provide optimal space solutions to corporate clients seeking new offices, based on the two companies' expertise and data.
Under the agreement, IGIS Asset Management will provide data on leasable spaces, including prime offices and advanced logistics centers currently under development. Saramin will use its vast big data on corporate clients to select a pool of corporations with potential leasing demand and share it with IGIS Asset Management.
As their first collaboration, the two companies will run a pilot project targeting large prime offices such as IOTA Seoul (the former Hilton Hotel site), which IGIS Asset Management is developing as a new landmark in Seoul. They plan to begin full-scale platform construction starting next year.
Lee Cheol-seung, head of the real asset division at IGIS Asset Management, who attended the signing ceremony, said, "This collaboration is an innovative attempt to go beyond the boundaries of traditional real estate asset management and maximize the value of space through data and technology," adding, "Through synergy with Saramin, we will deliver unprecedented value to corporate clients and lead the next-generation office market."
