LG Innotek, a parts-related stock, is weakening after Apple unveiled the iPhone 17.
As of 9:29 a.m. on the 10th, LG Innotek was trading at 161,000 won, down 8,100 won (4.77%) from the previous session.
On the 9th (local time), Apple held its annual new product launch at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, and unveiled new products including the iPhone 17 lineup. The newly announced products included an "iPhone Air" instead of the Plus model. The iPhone Air is the thinnest ever at 5.6 mm.
LG Innotek, the largest supplier of camera modules for iPhones, had seen strong expectations for a share-price rise ahead of the iPhone launch, but is falling on a cooler-than-expected reception. With the unveiling of the new iPhones, the momentum has faded, and disappointment appears to stem from the lack of special features, including AI, in the new models.
