L&K BIOMED, a KOSDAQ-listed company, is seeing strong stock prices early in the trading session on the 8th. This is interpreted as buying momentum due to news of ongoing partnership discussions with major global companies.
As of 9:52 a.m. on this day, L&K BIOMED's shares are trading at 10,000 won, up 2,160 won (27.55%) from the previous trading day. This marks the highest price in a year.
On this day, L&K BIOMED held a strategic meeting among its executives to promote partnerships with major global companies and began discussions on new distribution strategies and joint marketing plans in the United States.
L&K BIOMED has been preparing plans to expand its global distribution network for about two years. The company noted that it has increased production capacity by approximately 40% by expanding its workforce in the first quarter and enhancing its production facilities in the second quarter. Additionally, in the third quarter, it emphasized that it has laid the groundwork for a full market entry by completing approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its jointly marketed product 'BluEx-TM' with major global companies.
A company official noted, 'Discussions for partnerships with major global companies are at a stage where we are broadening practical points of contact, beyond simple cooperation, including supply chain operational methods,' and added, 'Having completed the preparatory work, we are committed to expanding partnerships.'
In response, the securities industry has also shown a positive outlook. Lee Byung-hwa, a researcher at Shinhan Investment Corp, explained, 'The company aims to sign distribution contracts with global corporations by progressing with its global partnerships in the spinal sector this year,' adding, 'Currently, the process toward contract completion is proceeding smoothly, with a target for product supply in the first half of next year.' The researcher also stated, 'Assuming the global partnership is successful, the average sales growth rate for 2026-2027 will be 70%.'
