ISU PETASYS stock is strong on the 8th. This is interpreted as a reflection of securities firms' positive evaluation of the growth potential of its core business, multi-layered board (MLB). MLB is a product stacked with multiple printed circuit boards (PCBs).
ISU PETASYS shares traded at 68,900 won in the KOSPI market at 2:22 p.m. on the 8th. The stock price rose by 9.02% (5,700 won) compared to the previous trading day. The intraday price increased to 70,000 won, setting a new all-time high.
On the 5th, securities firms that examined the ISU PETASYS Daegu factory facilities projected that the boom would continue for a considerable period. They raised their target price to 81,000 won at Hana Securities and Meritz Securities, while JP Morgan also set a target price of 80,000 won.
ISU PETASYS plans to expand its MLB production capacity in three phases using the new 5th factory building, increasing from 3,000㎡ to 6,000㎡ to 12,500㎡. Despite this large-scale expansion, the common opinion is that MLB supply shortages will continue.
Kim Min-kyung, a researcher at Hana Securities, said, "As strong artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure investment continues, high speed, low loss, and high power characteristics are required for MLB," adding, "Since ultra-multi-layered MLB requires repetitive processes of stacking, plating, outer layers, and capping, the process load is expected to increase significantly, leading to a continued limited supply situation."
Yang Seung-soo, a researcher at Meritz Securities, predicted an increase in average selling price (ASP). He stated, "The monthly sales forecast presented by ISU PETASYS after the expansion was calculated based on the current ASP," and noted, "Given the upward trend in ASP, this is a very conservative estimate."
JP Morgan highly valued that ISU PETASYS has a solid customer base. Google accounts for about 50% of ISU PETASYS's total revenue. JP Morgan explained that investments by Google in data centers could drive ISU PETASYS's growth and noted that it has secured various customers such as Nvidia, Microsoft, Arista, and Cisco.
