The Korea KOSDAQ Association announced on the 3rd that it held the '2025 KOSDAQ-VC Partners Day' to support fundraising for initial small and venture businesses, including KOSDAQ-listed companies.
The Korea KOSDAQ Association has been holding investment meetings, such as KOSDAQ-VC Partners Day, since 2023 to assist small and venture businesses in securing investments.
This year, the scope of participating companies was expanded to include not only KOSDAQ-listed companies but also KSM-registered companies and prospective KOSDAQ-listed companies (unlisted companies). The number of participating venture capitalists (VCs) also increased compared to the previous year.
Participating companies will have the opportunity to establish tailored investment strategies appropriate for their growth stages, and it is expected that VCs will discover excellent small and venture companies and gain new investment opportunities.
A spokesperson for the association said, "We have increased the efficiency of investment meetings by applying a matching method that reflects the characteristics of corporations and the portfolio and preferences of VCs," adding, "We conducted a total of 60 investment meetings, an increase of 12 from 48 meetings last year."
He continued, "The Korea KOSDAQ Association plans to support follow-up meetings for participating corporations and VCs, and we will also sequentially support new meetings for companies that did not participate."
