On the 1st, Hanwha Life launched the 'Hanwha Life H Health Plus Insurance,' which guarantees the entire process of cancer, brain, and heart diseases, and allows for an expansion of coverage after full payment and considerations for retirement.
This product provides comprehensive coverage centered on cancer, brain, and heart disease, which consumers show the highest interest in, covering diagnosis, treatment, after-effects, and death.
In particular, it is characterized by a coverage increasing structure after full payment and a savings-type conversion feature, allowing for simultaneous consideration of coverage and fund utilization according to the customer's life cycle.
'Hanwha Life H Health Plus Insurance' has expanded the previously limited coverage for major cancer treatment costs (surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy) from once a year for a maximum of 10 years to the end of the insurance period. Additionally, it includes coverage for deaths from cancer, brain, and heart diseases, as well as 3-100% after-effects coverage, which were not provided in existing products, thereby strengthening preparations for severe illnesses.
Premium waivers are also available. Based on the standard enrollment type, if a diagnosis of 50% or more after-effects, cancer (excluding other skin cancers and thyroid cancers), stroke, or acute myocardial infarction occurs, all future premium payments will be waived.
With this product, the coverage amount can increase up to double after full payment through a structuring scheme. Additionally, at the time of full premium payment, an increase contract will be offered for a certain percentage of previously paid premiums to expand the coverage scale.
If desired by the customer, part of the contract can be converted into a pension or savings type, making it useful for preparing living expenses after retirement. A simplified enrollment type for those with mild conditions is also offered. If there is no hospital admission or surgery history occurring within one year after enrollment, premiums will be discounted through contract conversion.
The enrollment age ranges from 15 to 80 years, and additional options such as the main contract (10 million won) and major treatment special clauses for cancer, brain, and heart diseases, as well as after-effects special clauses, can be selected.
For a main contract (10 million won) along with special clauses for major cancer treatment guarantee, after-effects of cancer, major treatment guarantee for brain and cardiovascular diseases, after-effects special clauses for two major diseases, and premium waiver special clauses based on the standard for 30 years old, 110 years maturity, and 20 payment years, the monthly premium is 129,121 won for men and 74,724 won for women (based on the general enrollment type, basic type).
Lee Sang-hee, head of the product development team at Hanwha Life, noted, 'The Hanwha Life H Health Plus Insurance not only allows for comprehensive coverage from diagnosis to treatment, after-effects, and death of cancer, brain, and heart diseases, but also adds features such as a structured increase and increasing services, along with a savings-type conversion function, making it a product that can accompany customers throughout their life journey.'
