Samsung Card announced on the 28th that it has launched two types of the 'Samsung iD SELECT Card' (ALL, ON), allowing customers to choose benefits according to their preferences.
The two types of the 'Samsung iD SELECT Card' consist of 'Samsung iD SELECT ALL,' which allows customers to choose benefits in the living expenses category, and 'Samsung iD SELECT ON,' which allows customers to choose double benefits on weekends at their primary spending locations.
Both types allow customers to select desired benefits when issuing the card and also change benefits monthly while using the card. The 'Samsung iD SELECT ALL Card' offers discounts for selected essential expenses and lifestyle spending categories.
The essential expenses discount includes options for a 10% discount on apartment management fees and communication bills, 10% on education expenses, and a 0.7% discount at all domestic merchants. Customers can choose one to receive benefits.
Discounts for lifestyle spending categories can also be selected. Customers can choose between a 7% discount at restaurants, convenience stores, discount stores, and gas stations, or a 7% discount for online shopping, delivery apps, hospitals, and pharmacies.
In addition to the selected discounts, basic discounts are also offered. Customers can receive a 2% discount overseas, a 5% discount at Daiso, travel, books, and wine, and a 50% discount on digital content and online memberships. Customers of the 'Samsung iD SELECT ON Card' can choose their desired benefits from three options.
First, two options are available for dining discounts of 5% and online fashion or shopping mall discounts of 5%. Depending on spending patterns, customers can select the area they use most on weekends, receiving a 5% discount during the week and a 10% discount, which is double, from Friday to Sunday.
Customers focusing on online consumption can also choose a 1% discount on online easy payments. Basic discount benefits are also provided, including a 2% discount overseas and a 5% discount on delivery apps, coffee shops, taxis, and car sharing, as well as a 50% discount on Google Play, the App Store, and digital content.
The previous month's performance, limits, and benefit merchants for both the 'Samsung iD SELECT ALL Card' and 'Samsung iD SELECT ON Card' can be checked through the Samsung Card website and app, as well as through Monimo. The annual fee for both the 'Samsung iD SELECT ALL Card' and the 'Samsung iD SELECT ON Card' is 20,000 won for domestic use and for international use (Mastercard).
