KakaoBank announced on the 26th that it will make a special contribution of 10 billion won to the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, based on which it will supply a total of 125 billion won in guarantee loans.
The support target is individual business owners with business sites in Seoul, with a maximum loan limit of 100 million won. Applications can be made through the Seoul Credit Guarantee mobile app or at business sites.
At the signing ceremony held on the 25th at the KakaoBank Pangyo office in Seongnam, KakaoBank CEO Yoon Ho-young and Seoul Credit Guarantee Chairman Choi Hang-do attended and promised cooperation to alleviate the financial burden of small business owners in Seoul.
With this agreement, KakaoBank will newly handle more than 30 products operated by the Seoul Credit Guarantee. Accordingly, it will provide tailored financial support suited to customer situations such as startup, job support, and growth support. New customers can also receive a benefit of half the guarantee fee, up to 300,000 won.
Since last year, KakaoBank and the Seoul Credit Guarantee have continued their cooperation by introducing various products such as 'Rapid Dream Interest Support Loan' and 'Safe Account No. 1', and will participate in the financial sector's only continuous launch of 'Safe Account No. 2' on the 28th.
KakaoBank stated, "We conducted this agreement to alleviate the financial burden of small business owners in Seoul and strengthen their self-sufficiency," adding, "In the future, we will continue to expand financial services for individual business owners."
