On the 19th, KB Life announced the launch of its comprehensive health insurance 'KB 5.10.5 Perfect Plus Health Insurance (Non-participating)' that can simultaneously support customers' healthy lives and financial stability.
This new product reflects the changing needs of insurance consumers, featuring broader coverage at lower premiums for customers who are confident in their health compared to existing products. In particular, it is expected to expand the insurance product choices for healthy customers as they can enjoy premium savings by self-reporting their health status.
Additionally, it offers a coverage range reflecting the latest trends in medical technology, including treatment costs for procedures such as embolization for liver and uterine cancer, making it the first in the life insurance industry. Embolization is a procedure that involves injecting a special substance into blood vessels to block blood flow, treating malignant tumors like liver cancer and uterine cancer.
Along with this, KB Life has established daily life-oriented collateral to prepare for everyday health issues. Coverage is available not only for chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, herpes zoster, and gout but also for common ailments like fractures, flu, and urinary stones. It particularly helps prevent the onset of severe conditions such as strokes or heart attacks through coverage for medication treatment for dyslipidemia, including hyperlipidemia, and arrhythmia.
If a customer subscribes to the premium exemption rider, premium payments will be waived if diagnosed with one of the three major diseases: cancer, cerebrovascular disease, or ischemic heart disease, or if there is a disability of 50% or more, thus reducing the burden of premiums after a diagnosis.
KB Life has designed its insurance subscription conditions flexibly, considering the customer lifecycle. In line with the rapidly aging society, customers from ages 15 to 80 can enroll, and insurance periods can be chosen to mature at 90 years or 100 years. The payment periods can also be set variably to 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, or 30 years, allowing customers to adjust their monthly premium payments according to their financial conditions.
A KB Life official noted, "This new product is a practical insurance product designed for customers to tailor their coverage according to their health status and financial conditions." He added, "In the future, KB Life will continue to introduce innovative products that reflect the voices of our customers and sales representatives, supporting their prosperous lives as a partner for public happiness."
