According to Hana Financial Investment, JYP Entertainment's second-quarter revenue this year was 215.8 billion won, a 126% increase compared to the same period last year, while operating profit soared 466% to 52.8 billion won, exceeding market consensus estimates. In particular, the concert segment reflected the 19 shows of Stray Kids' largest-ever world tour and additional revenue from North American performances, recording an all-time high of 62 billion won. Furthermore, the MD and other sectors, including Stray Kids' Tamagotchi product and the Japan pop-up collaboration between TWICE and Sanrio, also reached a record high of 66.9 billion won, a 356% increase from the same period last year.
Lee Gi-hoon, a researcher at Hana Financial Investment, noted, 'The high profitability was once again proven despite the re-signing of major artists, and with the album comebacks of TWICE and Stray Kids in the third quarter, a good performance trend is expected to continue.' He also raised the 2026 performance estimates and increased the target price accordingly.
The researcher stated, 'In the second half of this year, TWICE is achieving its highest-ever ranking on Billboard in line with the success of K-pop Demon Hunters, and a world tour extending to North America and Europe will take place in 2026. Meanwhile, Stray Kids is expected to have remaining world tour dates and two comebacks, along with plans for NiziU's largest-ever tour in Japan and the debut of the Chinese boy group CIIU in August.'
