MERITZ Securities announced on the 11th that the customer deposit assets of its non-face-to-face dedicated investment account 'Super365' have surpassed 11 trillion won. This is an increase of about 11 times from 935.5 billion won before the event held last November. During the same period, the number of customers with Super365 accounts grew from over 23,000 to 200,000.
MERITZ Securities is applying free transaction fees for all trades, including domestic and U.S. stock trading, dollar exchange fees, and related institutional fees for the Super365 account until the end of December 2026.
MERITZ Securities also views the effect of its advertising model, actress Shin Se-kyung, as a contributing factor. The YouTube video titled 'Shin Se-kyung also does MERITZ' presented in a V-log format, which features Shin Se-kyung introducing the Super365 account, surpassed a total of 10 million views within a month of its release.
A representative from MERITZ Securities said, "The trustworthiness that actress Shin Se-kyung possesses and her natural daily life shown on her personal channel seem to have been well conveyed to viewers with authenticity," adding, "We will continue to present content that can engage with customers in the future."
