The Korea Exchange announced on the 7th that it has selected 22 companies listed on the KOSDAQ market with excellent technology and growth potential as the '2025 KOSDAQ Rising Stars.'
The newly selected corporations this year are ST PHARM, Next Biomedical, SOLiD, SEMCNS, DE&T, Truen, and Union. Lunit, Lake Materials, and L&C BIO, among others, were reselected from last year.
Being chosen as a KOSDAQ Rising Star allows corporations to receive benefits such as a one-year exemption from annual fees and listing fees, support for investor relations (IR) meetings, publication of corporate analysis reports, and preferential interest rates from IBK Industrial Bank.
The Korea Exchange has been conducting the KOSDAQ Rising Star program since 2009 to support the growth of promising KOSDAQ-listed companies and to invigorate the market.
Corporations whose main products have a strong market dominance in the global market, those with a high domestic market share in innovative industries, and those with sustainable revenue growth in innovative industries that are likely to grow into global companies will be selected through quantitative and qualitative evaluations and deliberations by the selection committee.
A corporation can be selected as a KOSDAQ Rising Star up to five times. Corporations that have reached the maximum selection count and achieved 'honorary graduation' as KOSDAQ Rising Stars include Alteogen and PharmaResearch.
