Korea Investment Holdings' subsidiary Korea Investment Securities announced on the 31st that it held a recruitment briefing titled 'KIS Chat in Seoul' inviting undergraduate students from overseas universities. More than 150 college students attended the briefing held the previous day.
Korea Investment Securities provided an opportunity for discussions with current employees along with descriptions of major roles such as global business, research, and digital. It is noted that the college students who participated in the briefing were able to gain realistic advice on roles and career paths through Q&A with the practitioners.
Kim Seong-hwan, president of Korea Investment Securities, introduced the global expansion strategy and emphasized, "To establish competitiveness in the global capital market beyond the domestic market, it is essential to attract talent with overseas experience and perspectives. In particular, growing together with talented individuals from diverse backgrounds is our core strategy."
Korea Investment Securities has also introduced a tailored recruitment program for each academic year for the first time this year. A mentoring-focused program for second-year students and a separate recruitment-linked screening for third-year students have been established and are being operated. Selected applicants through this screening are participating in formal recruitment procedures, including summer internships, and full-scale hiring is expected to take place the following year.
