The AI food camera is an app-based service that allows users to take photos of the food they consume with their smartphones and register them in the app, providing convenient meal tracking, personalized nutrition routines, nutritional information analysis based on carbohydrates, proteins, and fats as well as sodium, daily intake summary feedback, and connections to specialist consultations. The analysis results are presented in activity reports where healthcare professionals provide solutions, enabling users to visually confirm their intake patterns and receive feedback on improvement directions.
Lee Jeong-ki, Deputy Minister of Digital at Mirae Asset Life Insurance, noted, "Interest in dieting and managing one's condition surges during the summer, so the demand for accurate and convenient meal management services is particularly high," adding, "Health management services provided by the insurance industry are evolving from simple coverage to becoming 'digital health partners' that closely engage in the daily lives of customers."
