Samsung Securities announced on the 24th that it will hold the 'KOSPI 5,000-point wish event' until September 30.
This event will be conducted in two phases: the first phase from July 15 to August 14, and the second phase from August 18 to September 30.
Cash rewards of up to five times can be received for the days on which domestic stocks are purchased during each period. The cash rewards will vary depending on the KOSPI index level at the end of October. If the KOSPI index is in the 2000-point range, 2,000 won will be given per purchase day; if it is in the 3000-point range, 3,000 won; if in the 4000-point range, 4,000 won; and if in the 5000-point range, 10,000 won will be provided.
This event targets new customers with a resident registration number in the second half of this year or customers who had no transactions in domestic stocks or had a balance of less than 1 million won in the first half of this year.
An official from Samsung Securities noted, 'This event was organized to encourage customers to take more interest in the domestic stock market and participate in direct investments while hoping for the era of the KOSPI index reaching 5,000 points.' He added, 'We aim to provide practical benefits to new investors and those restarting their investment journey, supporting successful investments.'
