Samsung Card announced on the 20th that it will provide financial support to customers affected by flood damage caused by heavy rain.
First, the credit card payment due for affected customers for the period of July to September this year will be deferred for up to 6 months. In addition, for domestic transactions of 10,000 won or more among the scheduled payment amounts, support will be provided to allow installment payments for up to 6 months. The interest accrued from the installment payments applied for by affected customers will be fully waived.
Additionally, until the end of September, if affected customers use short-term card loans (cash service) or long-term card loans, interest will be reduced by up to 30%. Customers with long-term card loans due by the end of September can extend the maturity.
To receive financial support, a verification of damage issued by local authorities must be submitted. For further details, inquiries can be made through the Samsung Card representative hotline.
