Artificial intelligence (AI) security corporation SANDS Lab reported that it has registered its security technology with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (UPSTO), causing the stock price to rise early in the trading session on the 17th.
As of 9:11 a.m. on this day, SANDS Lab is trading at 10,390 won, up 2,230 won (27.33%) from the previous trading day.
SANDS Lab announced that it has registered three security technologies with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The patents registered this time pertain to security automation technologies such as malware analysis automation, real-time natural language analysis, and automatic generation of natural language security reports.
In particular, the technology for automatic generation of natural language reports can interpret threat information using a large language model (LLM) and output it in report form.
SANDS Lab explained that it has registered overseas patents to secure core technologies for cyber threat detection, analysis, response, and reporting. Kim Gi-hong, CEO of SANDS Lab, noted, "We will focus on building a global patent barrier to secure the independence and defense capabilities of domestic security technologies."
